Campus podcast Climate Break recently partnered with radio station KALW 91.7 FM San Francisco Bay Area, an affiliate of National Public Radio, or NPR. Climate Break tackles climate crises through weekly short interviews with climate innovators from across the globe.

UC Berkeley’s Center for Law Energy & the Environment, or CLEE, received the first installment of a $100,000 donation from campus alumnus Stuart Gardiner, the gift going to the exploration of ideas that could help in combating climate change.

A campus program called BearCorps, which was established in partnership with California Volunteers, will create opportunities for recent graduates to work in farm and forest communities.
