Return to in-person: Cal Day over the years

On April 23, UC Berkeley will be hosting an in-person Cal Day for the first time in two years. The day packed with in-person events will be held for newly admitted students and their families, giving them the opportunity to get to know their new campus.

Visitor and Parent Services and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions recently launched a virtual tour through YouVisit for prospective students to experience the UC Berkeley campus from afar.

Cal Day has been canceled to prevent the spread of COVID-19, more colloquially known as the coronavirus, according to a campuswide email from Vice Chancellor of Administration Marc Fisher.

New campus visitor center to open Tuesday at Memorial Stadium

Next Tuesday, the campus visitor center will move from its current location in Sproul Hall to its new home on Goldman Plaza in California Memorial Stadium.

William Tatlonghari, David Moreno-Medina and Maria Parar visit the Campanile, which will begin being renovated starting July 5. The process will last just under six weeks.

Campanile admission prices to rise for first time in 15 years

Admission prices to the Campanile are set to rise to fund cosmetic improvements in the lead up to its 100th anniversary. Prices will rise by $1 for non-campus visitors and remain free to students, faculty and staff.
