In the Bears’ third and final dual meet of the fall season, all the stars were aligned as they faced the UCSD Tritons. Continuing the team’s path of dual meet sweeps, Cal toppled the Tritons 183-79, winning 12 out of the 14 events.

The Bears have started the season off strong with two decisive dual meet wins against Pittsburgh and Washington State. This Friday, the women will look to continue their winning streak in a nonconference meet against UCSD. 

The Cal women’s swim team continued on their dominant season, clinching victories in all but one race and setting a strong tone for the rest of the Pac-12 season.

Coming off of a dominant win against Pittsburgh, the Cal women’s swim and dive team will take on Washington State on Friday at the Spieker Aquatics Center.

Competing in their first dual meet of the season, the Panthers proved no match for the Bears. The women’s team swept 202 to 93 as the men’s team notched 170 points to Pittsburgh’s 127 points.

Taking on Spieker Aquatic, the Bears are set to host Pittsburgh in a joint dual meet with the men’s and women’s swimming programs. Saturday’s meet will mark Cal’s first home competition and first scoring meet of the season.

The Bears dominated the pool this past week at the Pac-12 Championships, placing third overall behind Stanford and USC.

The Bears’ fiercest, competitor No. 1 University of Texas, posted many NCAA qualifying times, but Cal women’s swim tallied up multiple championship times.

No. 9 Cal women's swimming dove back into the water this past Friday for a nonconference dual meet against UC San Diego. Cal was back in action for the first time since winning their first two Pac-12 dual meets of the season in mid-October against Utah and Washington State.
