National Academy of Medicine

Rachel Morello-Frosch, a professor in UC Berkeley’s Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management and School of Public Health was elected to the National Academy of Medicine, or NAM, according to an announcement released by the organization on Monday. 

UC Berkeley Professor of Law and Bioethics Osagie K. Obasogie was elected for membership to the National Academy of Medicine on Monday, one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine. 

Dispersing vaccines through the UC system immediately, including campus communities and alumni networks, would ensure underserved areas receive faster care.

With her innovative project on the role of the skin barrier in inflammation and aging, Katrina Abuabara, associate professor-in-residence of epidemiology at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, has been awarded the Healthy Longevity Catalyst Award.
