The world’s thirst for proper POC representation (not just in cast but in crew) meant billions of eyes ready to devour “Beef.” In this pressure cooker, Lee Sung Jin cooks “Beef” to near-perfection. 

“Outer Banks” creates complexities in the villains of the story, ultimately giving them vindication, and although audiences may not initially want their success, inevitably their character development wins over all. 

This season, he seems to have left his serial killing ways, instead witnessing the crimes of a new, unknown murderer — one that he is determined to sniff out.

“That ’90s Show” may replicate the formula of its predecessor, but it manages to be just as entertaining in its own right, with the new cast bringing a fun flair to the nostalgic continuation.

I’m happy with astrology functioning as a trivial conversation starter (even happier with it as a way to scare off straight men), but once in a while, a mindful nod to horoscopy can be honestly worthwhile.

“Wednesday” loses some of the charm that many associate with the Addams Family in favor of modernization, making the portrayal of the family jarring at times, but “Wednesday” succeeds and is entertaining in its own right.

The film shifts from inducing laughter to inspiring awe, and it elevates the mystery film into something more than just a whodunit.
