Current ASUC Academic Affairs Vice President, or AAVP, James Weichert is running for reelection in the upcoming ASUC election, hoping to continue his work on academic student advocacy and equitable academic policies. 

At its regular meeting Wednesday, ASUC officials discussed office updates, heard reports from council and commission chairs and passed several bills.

During a short ASUC general meeting Wednesday, ASUC officials and meeting attendees discussed hotel prices in the Berkeley area, plans for the fall semester and Graduate Assembly restructuring plans.
