$2M loan may save Berkeley-based radio station KPFA from closure

The Pacifica Foundation, the parent company to Berkeley-based KPFA radio station, will be receiving a $2 million loan that could save KPFA from closing due to debt owed, following a lawsuit by Empire State Realty Trust Inc., or ESRT.
