In January 2016, a team of undergraduate UC Berkeley students went on their first trip to Panama as the start of a project to provide running water that would take the next 5 years to complete. Students from the UC Berkeley chapter of Engineers Without Borders collaborated with Footprint Possibilities, an organization that helps fund U.S. student projects in Panama, to help solve health issues.
