Throughout the flurry of midterms and the hours dedicated to studying whizzing by to the drizzling rain that resembles many of our tears, the overall aura of Berkeley has been dimmed from what once was a golden yellow to a bleak gray.

Maybe, within our feeble attempts of making a quick class buddy or stressing about the busyness of our own lives, we have forgotten to take the most instinctual steps of recognizing each other’s existence. 

It can be a pain sitting in class, watching someone stumble and/or incorrectly explain a concept, experience or reading that they simply do not understand or know.

With recruitment season comes an onslaught of applications and interviews. One question that’s especially confusing is “tell me about yourself.”

Contrary to what it may seem, I am no relationship expert. If anything, I’m the exact opposite. I know that this is an earth-shattering revelation since all signs point to me being Cupid’s protégé ... but alas, I wouldn’t know the first thing to do if one of those “relationship” things fell into my lap.
