13 Bears entered the University of Tennessee swimming den this weekend for the NCAA championships, finishing 11th overall.

Cal will be sending 13 swimmers to compete at the NCAA championships in multiple events throughout the week.

The Bears dominated the pool this past week at the Pac-12 Championships, placing third overall behind Stanford and USC.

The Bears will head into a week full of meets starting Wednesday for the Pac-12 Championships. Pac-12s will be the last meet of the season for some Cal swimmers, while others have either already qualified for NCAAs, or will use this meet to do so.

In Cal’s last dual meet of the season, the Bears fell short against Bay Area rival Stanford 101-161. Cal, now ranked at No. 12 in the nation, will head to the Pac-12 Championships next week.
