3rd annual United Against Hate Week kicks off virtually

United Against Hate

United Against Hate Week is a campaign that was started by cities in the Bay Area as a response to 2017 white supremacist rallies. This year, the campaign kicked off Monday through virtual platforms, with the week’s events including film screenings and a TED Talk.

The third annual United Against Hate Week kicked off Monday using social media and virtual meeting platforms.

Study finds Prop. 209 decreased Black, Latinx, Native American UC admissions

By studying UC applicants from 1994 through 2002, Zachary Bleemer, UC Berkeley economics doctoral candidate, found that abolishing California’s race-based admissions process negatively impacted Black, Latinx and Native American students.
