BART is offering free rides home to users of Oakland Coliseum’s mass COVID-19 vaccination site, which opened Tuesday and is accessible from the Coliseum BART station.

The docking of the Grand Princess cruise ship Monday has sparked a conversation about those affected by COVID-19, the new coronavirus, and those in charge of California’s preventative measures.

Berkeley and Oakland officials have expressed their support for dedicated bus and carpool lanes on the Bay Bridge and parts of Interstate 580 and 880.

Both unions, which represent more than 3,000 Oakland workers cumulatively, according to the press release, alleged that workers have received threats to their jobs because of their support of an alternative to Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf’s budget.
