Cal men’s soccer looked out of sorts on Sunday night at Negoesco Stadium in San Francisco, suffering its first loss of the season against the University of San Francisco in a 3-0 rout.

Considered as the longest-standing baseball rivalry, the Dodgers-Giants rivalry is still one of the most highly anticipated matches in Major League Baseball.

For the first time this season, the Bears walked away with a 18-12 victory away at Stanford solidifying their stance in the MPSF Championships later this week.

Cal will face Stanford in Cardinal territory and have their most important rematch of the season.

There is pride associated with playing another California team. It might not be the rivalry it is with UCLA, but playing Cal is still a big deal.
