Members of Berkeley community condemn plaque honoring allegedly racist LeConte brothers

Campus spokesperson Dan Mogulof claimed that if a formal proposal to remove the plaque honoring the LeConte brothers was made, the matter would likely be quickly addressed.

Members of the Berkeley community brought attention to a plaque memorializing brothers Joseph and John LeConte, known for their allegedly racist histories.
