Additional COVID-19 testing sites opening for residents, students

The city of Berkeley encourages people to get tested for COVID-19, according to city spokesperson Matthai Chakko, who also noted that protective actions such as self-isolation, wearing masks and social distancing should be taken. To further help mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Berkeley Public Health Division is coordinating free COVID-19 mobile testing at sites throughout the city.
Additional COVID-19 testing sites are opening up for Berkeley residents and UC Berkeley students at various locations, which include the gym at University Village in Albany and mobile testing pop-up sites outside of both Berkeley Bowl locations.
