BUSD votes in favor of additional middle school enrollment zone

Starting in 2023-2024, the BUSD Board of Education will create a three-zone middle school enrollment model. The additional zone will feed directly into Longfellow Middle School as part of diversity and desegregation efforts.

The Berkeley Unified School District, or BUSD, Board of Education voted unanimously June 15 to adopt a three-zone middle school enrollment model starting in 2023-2024, as first reported by Berkeleyside.
