Overproduced and uninspired, “Thor: Love and Thunder” isn’t unseating anyone’s favorite Marvel movie any time soon.

Although entertaining enough to watch until the end and funny enough to evoke a few laughs, the movie’s confusing logic, inability to steer clear from cliches and feeble attempts at establishing depth all exacerbate its various shortcomings.

As the night progressed, viewers saw the expected winners triumph in the acting categories, while the night’s top awards saw stunning, historic upsets.    

Davis’ performance as Jojo is largely what makes this film so captivating and poignantly touching.

There is no excuse for this continued resistance to diversity. Everyone should have heroes who look like them. Every kid deserves that.
