As the defending national champs, Cal men’s swim and dive kicks off its season at San Luis Obispo hoping to avoid the infamous championship hangover.

After a month-long break since its last regular-season competition, Cal men’s swim and dive aims to come back aggressively against ASU.

After Cal’s historic performance at the Pac-12 championships three weeks ago, the Bears look to the NCAA championships and their second consecutive national title.

Cal men’s swim and dive team came home with its fourth straight Pac-12 championship, and will head to North Carolina for the 2021 NCAA Championships.

Following its third undefeated season in a row, Cal men’s swim and dive is heading to the Pac-12 championships to face new and old opponents.

Cal finished the regular season with a 167.5-130.5 win against Stanford. The team now heads to Tucson, Arizona, for the Pac-12 Diving Championships scheduled from Wednesday to Saturday.

The Bears clinched back-to-back dual meet victories against Arizona and Arizona State in their last home meet of the season.

The team visited the White House and was able to meet with other political figures in addition to President Trump, including Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Rep. Barbara Lee and Rep. Mark DeSaulnier.

The Bears had a solid weekend in Minnesota, where they competed in their longest meet of the season so far. They came out second to Texas, with some impressive individual highlights.

Along with Cal defending its Pac-12 Championship title, Seliskar also won Pac-12 Swimmer of the Meet for the second year in a row.
