Trump administration rescinds recent ICE guidelines for online courseloads

Amid several lawsuits between higher education institutions and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Trump administration agreed to rescind a recent policy that would have pushed international students out of the United States if they were taking an online courseload.

The Trump administration agreed Tuesday to rescind a July 6 policy directive that would have forced international students in the United States to return to their countries if they were taking a fully online course load.
