Police arrest 4 teens in connection with campus vandalism

UCPD officers detained one UC Berkeley student and three men not affiliated with the campus on suspicion of vandalizing Sather Gate and other campus locations early Wednesday morning.

UC Berkeley alumnus dies in apparent suicide on campus in mid-May

A 25-year-old UC Berkeley alumnus died in an apparent suicide on May 18. According to UCPD Lt. Eric Tejada, police responded to a call at 2 a.m. from a passerby who reported suspicious behavior. Officers found Andrew J. Maxwell with a gunshot wound to the head at the vista point
