VeHICaL — or Verified Human Interfaces, Control, and Learning for Semi-Autonomous Systems — is an interdisciplinary project involving UC Berkeley researchers that seeks to develop new and improved ways of building human cyber-physical systems, like self-driving cars and drones.

With the audit’s approval, student activists have found an ally in state legislators, whom they are now hoping can be a vehicle for change on college campuses.
