‘Nowhere near enough’: Cal Band lacks funding to pay for new instruments

Despite getting much of its funding from donors and its endowment, Cal Band still faces financial constraints as campus does not provide enough funding to cover all of its costs.

A lack of funding is preventing the University of California Marching Band, or Cal Band, from purchasing necessary new instruments for its members.
