Yes, you guessed it — Tacos Sinaloa yet again won out as the best Mexican food in Berkeley for the fifth year in a row.

When it comes to our tastes in fashion, food and festivities, there are definitely a couple of fan favorites that instantly cross our minds. With the fall semester almost coming to an end, the Clog is pleased to present the starter pack of a UC Berkeley student.

Over the course of 150 years, some of the things that once defined UC Berkeley have faded into the past, only to be replaced by new traditions and icons that resonate with the current student body.

“Although we’re not entirely sure exactly how the process works in a physical or biological sense, we have concluded that the so-called 'boba monster' is still actively growing,” said Natasha Chiao, an internationally renowned campus professor in boba analytics.

TZONE, which started as a family business in San Jose in 2014, has moved to Berkeley after the success of its last storefront near UC Santa Cruz last year, according to owner The Anh Hang.

YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea, a boba store specializing in organic and all-natural teas, opened at 2516 Bancroft Way in Berkeley on Sept. 10.
