UC Berkeley suspends mistakenly approved Palestine DeCal amid outcry

The DeCal office is located in Eshleman Hall among other student organizations. On Tuesday, campus suspended the student-led DeCal “Palestine: A Settler Colonial Analysis” after a nonprofit combatting anti-Semitism in higher education sent a letter to Chancellor Nicholas Dirks.

On Tuesday, UC Berkeley suspended an erroneously approved student-led DeCal called “Palestine: A Settler Colonial Analysis” that many in the Jewish community alleged was politically bent.
