Sure, she’s playing major music festivals now, but in the 2010s, experimental pop musician SPELLLING passed her days at Berkeley just like any other Letters and Science student: by writing disappointing poetry.

Omar Apollo’s first full-length album Ivory, released April 8, is his most experimental work yet, exploring alternative and hip-hop genres while never straying too far from the artist’s R&B roots.

On the final day of Outside Lands, artists brought on performances deserving of titles such as most affecting, youthful, best throwback and most majestic. 

Finding glee in abrasive actions like this seems to be Tumor’s goal in their new project, a smorgasbord of bass, drums and distorted production over wailing, yearning vocals.
